I archive. I also host. And I tinker and fiddle and adjust just this one more weensy thing on the various websites I've created. I run Vox Populli to host fellow fans' websites as well as the fanfic archives I run.
My fannish journey began in Highlander, at alt.tv.highlander, I never realized until much later how lucky I was to wander innnocently into a group of really nice, welcoming people. Great bunch of folks, most probably gone elsewhere by now, I haven't been there in ages. I went to my first cons (freaked my mother out :)), met lots of really nice people, went to Scotland, traveled with a couple girls I met thru the net, had a great time eating pizza and fries with mayo.
I also got my education in fanfic and slash there, almost simultaneously. It's all ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) maygra's fault that I ended up in slash, she wrote such incredible Methos/Duncan stories, I couldn't leave.
Next up: X-Files and my first venture into archiving, setting up the Basement XF slash archive, eventually adding the 1500 stories from the previous two archives, I am a pack rat so that was fun! My infatuation with the show waned somewhere around the end of the fifth season, I still archive for it tho I've moved more into het and gen XF areas and I think I stay more for the people in the community than the show itself.
I wandered into Sentinel briefly, found a great bunch of people there too, like HL, went to some cons and get-togethers, had a great time.
Nowadays, everything and nothing in particular, although my favorite shows are Supernatural, Smallville, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, 24, 30 Rock, Medium, Men in Trees, The Closer, Rescue Me, Prison Break, The Shield, The Riches...
